Leaside is covered with interesting houses. Each one has its one character and history.

The most famous house in Leaside is located at 201 Sutherland Drive. This was James Lea's house and it was built in 1909. What is so interesting, is that the back of the house faces Sutherland drive. This was because back in 1909 it was built to see a street that no longer exists. You can't miss the house; it is the only one that looks out of place.

These two houses are a perfect example of the Leaside community. Have a look at the rounded front doors and protruding front windows, can you picture the entire street?
