Newborn Care Class: 9:00am-11:15am

Growing Baby's newborn care class will cover a variety of topics to help you learn more about basic baby care, what to expect in the early weeks with your baby and to become familiar with newborn emotional and physical needs.

Breastfeeding Class: 11:30am-1:00pm

Growing Baby's prenatal breastfeeding classes are instructed by a Certified Lactation Educator. Growing Baby’s prenatal breastfeeding class will provide you and your partner with an introduction to the basics of breastfeeding. We will provide you with the knowledge you need to have a successful start and to feel positive and confident about breastfeeding.

Are you a new mother?

Life with a new baby can sometimes be hectic with having to adjust to your new role and the transition to parenthood. Growing Baby offers postnatal visits during the daytime to help you with whatever you feel you need. Your postnatal visit may include, but is not limited to:

- Teaching you about baby massage
- Soothing techniques
- Helping you with bathing your baby
- Helping you with breastfeeding
- Taking a nap, walk or shower while I am there
- Helping out with light housework
- Answering questions about basic baby care
- Providing you with community resources and information
- Someone to talk with if you are feeling overwhelmed or blue

Postnatal visits are a minimum of three hours and are only offered within the following communities.

- East York
- Beaches
- Riverdale
- Rosedale
- Bloor West Village
- Leaside
- Cabbagetown
- Downtown Toronto

Price: $ 75.00
